Summer calling

1 exam down, 1 to go (today). I should be excited that uni is almost over for this year but somehow I feel like it's going to haunt me all through my summer holidays. Cannot wait to go strawberry picking and hiking with Cindy, nights out with friends I haven't seen for ages and catch up with Keisha over Christmas!

Here + there

Lately I've noticed that my posts seem very.. short. It must be because of my laziness... Heh. The last few weeks have gone so fast and I can't believe it's almost Spring! (even though the current weather doesn't seem to show it at all). Nothing much happened anyway. I went to two birthdays, did a whole lot of embarrassing stuff, caught up with Cindy, went op-shopping, chilled with Long after uni almost everyday and made love to my new baby - my car. I named it ChloĆ©. Sad but true.

As for uni, I merely passed my Maths test last week, somehow got a Credit for my design assignment and currently awaiting my result for Engineering Modelling & Analysis (something to do with program coding). Didn't expect to be doing all this shenanigans when I applied for Arch. Eng. to be honest, but I managed to be doing okay, which is good enough. P's get the degrees (⌒▽⌒)☆


Thought I have no love for Asian dramas anymore until I watched Lee Min Ho in Personal Preference and City Hunter. He's like the Asian version of MB! Crazy. I joke to Long saying that he looks like Lee Min Ho HAHAHA. And he actually does, at times..

Sleep deprived

Tips for pulling an all-nighter:
  • Drink plenty of green tea
  • Eat in small amounts prior to the work session
  • Always have snacks by your side
  • Only drink tea/coffee w/ milk after 12 (something to do with milk making you sleepy) and repeat every 2 hours
  • Do not work on your bed
  • Think of it as a nanna nap instead of 'sleeping'
  • Set at least 3-5 alarms to wake you up (if you decide to nap)
  • Use eye drops in the morning to prevent bloodshot eyes
  • Have some extra green tea/ coffee/ energy drink
Just when I thought I've got everything under control, I find myself working my ass off the night before a major project is due OTL. Hope this isn't how it's going to be for the rest of the semester /dies

Ze spine



First bridge model that I've ever made! Finished it in 1 week instead of 3 because I left it to the last minute (AGAINAKKLJFNA) /dead. The brief was about the design and I based it on the spine~ Most consuming part was building the decking: had to soak each individual mini popsicle stick, cut its round heads off then split it in half (sideway) so they're not too thick..... Yeah... This bridge was my baby.. Until it fell apart......


NTS: Shit time management = shit grade.//
