Every girl needs a girl best friend. It is impossible to go through life without having a girl best friend. Your girl best friend/s are different to your guy best friend/s. They cry with you, say cute things, make you cute stuff. They understand your girly needs. They sympathise with you when you have your occasional meltdowns. They will not judge you for who you are. They stand by you through highs and lows. They will not cockblock you. They gives you motherly advices that you probably couldn't come up on your own. The conversations you have with each other can go day on end. No matter what you do in life, never lose your girl best friend. Cherish her and the friendship you've got because at the end of the day when you need someone to lean on, she will always be there.
Likewise, girls also need a guy best friend. Someone to give her a completely different point of view on things. Guy best friends are the best at cheering a girl up. They're usually considered 'weird' but they are perfectly imperfect. You can joke around with them and they probably don't even give a crap. They listen to you bitch about things, but they hardly ever bitch themselves. What they do care about is the people you get with because who would want to see their friend get hurt? You can (at some stage) fall for your guy best friend but don't be afraid to let him know. If it's meant to be then it's meant to be. If not, don't give up on your friendship. A great guy best friend is hard to find. Not many guys are willing to listen to you cry and ramble on about pointless things, but a guy best friend would. I love my best friend, he's also my boyfie. Wouldn't trade him for anyone else. //
